Meet Your Muslim Neighbor

In the name of Allah, the Gracious the Merciful Date: 8/17/2019

Assalam-o-Allaikum Wa Rehmatullah Wa Barakatuhu!

“Meet Your Muslim Neighbors” campaign was held at Mahmood mosque in Regina on August 17, 2019. Alhamdulillah, 21 non-Ahmadi guests visited the mosque and held discussions with local missionary in-charge, Respected Zeeshan Muzaffar Goraya sahib, and 3 other members of the community. They were also given a tour(s) of Mahmood mosque Regina.

Our main source of advertisement/invitation was Facebook and we spent $150 to advertise via Facebook for 15 days. Using this method our message reached to more than 11,000 people. We also set up a website, an email address, and a twitter account, so guests could register and also give feedback.

By the grace of Allah, other than the bookstall where we displayed Quran-e-Kareem and other Jama’at books the following were also displayed.

By the grace of Allah, this program was very successful!

We gave each visitor a tour of Mahmood mosque.
Respected local missionary sahib held healthy discussions with the non-Ahmadi friends during this program and allowed them to ask any question they had.
We provided some guests gift bags with two Jama’at books, The Life of the Muhammad (saw) and the world crisis, and the pathway to peace. and “Love for All, Hatred for None” wrist bands and Jama’at Pens.
Guests were served with refreshments, Later, volunteers were served with snacks and coffee as a token of appreciation for their hard work.
CTV News Media outlet took an interview with Respected Murabi Sahib and one of our guests.

By the grace of Allah, six Ansar as well as four Khudam extended their help to make this event successful. We started our program at 11:00 AM and finished at 4 PM thus spent 5 hours that day. Please find attached a few pictures and guest list.
