Cheque Presentation:

RFW team organized an event to present a cheque to the Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation for the donations collected in the 2019 run on February 22, 2020 in Baitul Ehsaan Mosque.  The names of the dignitaries are as follow:

1. John Comisso, President Windsor Regional Hospital Board of Directors
2. Gisele Segun, Director Public Affairs, Communications & Philanthropy
3. Cristina Naccarato, Manager, Philanthropy.
4. Nasir Ahmed, National Vice President, Ahmadiyya Elders Association.
5. Qamar Ahmed, Regional Zaeem Ansarullah.

4th Annual RUN for WINDSOR Postponed and Announcement of COVID-19 Assistance FUND:

Considering the latest information from Federal, provincial and local health agencies regarding COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 Run for Windsor is postponed until further notice.  The health and safety of all the participants and volunteers is our priority along with following the Emergency orders in place.

At the same time, we realize the importance of bringing people together to support the health care front-line workers who are risking their own health and endured burnout and exhaustion among many other challenges.  Effective immediately we are partnering with Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation to raise funds for the hospital staff under COVID-19 Assistance Fund.  This fund will help off-set costs, food purchase and other personal equipment that the staff might need at this time.

Community Assistance – Essential Packs

At the time of the Covid – 19 pandemic, the Run for Windsor team is not only raising funds for the front line workers but also helping the needy and seniors in our community with essential packs (hand sanitizer, face masks and disposable gloves) without limiting it to any sort of ethnicity.
